We have the next balloon day in the Diary for June 6th. The day will run from 10 till 5 with
a couple of mini workshops, time for jamming and help with designs you require any
assistance with and a competition or two. Early bird special, £10 voucher for
the first 10 people to book.. Please bring some balloons with you and
a mug for refreshments. Tea/Coffee refreshments are provided.

Many thanks to all who came to the sold out balloon day yesterday,
much appreciated and I will start to add some pictures up a little later... if I get time, fingers crossed.

I stayed at a little air BandB the night before, it was in the middle of nowhere but just 6 miles from the venue.
For an evening meal I looked for the local pub, the first one did not do food, the second one I stopped at had closed down and
the third one did not look to inviting to go into. So I went to the co-op and got a sandwich to take away........
made me smile. This was the view outside my BandB, I was in the log cabin.

All set up for the day.

We had to go from plan A to Plan B as we had 5/6 people along who had not twisted before.
So it was more of a workshop than the care & share day that was planned, but still very enjoyable.
A few of the designs I made the day before when I was setting up.

We did have some who had never twisted before, yet they both made pretty good Trains in the last picture.

It was Trains all around.

Then it was onto Mermaid's.

Some variations on a theme. I remember Kat making a mermaid with drawn sea shells on from
a previous day we had and always thought it was a nice and different idea.

Then it was onto flowers.

Swans were next on the list, I think Caroline was looking for low flying seagulls.... possibly, he he.

There were Swan's everywhere and in a multitude of colours as well.

I think Natasha made the Blue Mermaid with the artwork, Caroline made the wings getting ready for the competition.

Charlie with his Parrot on shoulder which would become part of his wearable competition piece later in the day.
Kat was making the hat for the competition as well.
