Here we are in out hotel room after a very eventful journey up north, got held up on the M25/M1 road widening scheme and then we had a lorry on fire on the other south carriageway with 15 mile tailback as the M1 was closed. Fortunately we were traveling northbound but still had two lanes closed so got stuck for 30/45 mins but at least we were moving  :)
We then had two lorrys in front of us having blowouts and weaving all over the road until the drivers got control of them and pulled over onto the hard shoulder, when those tyres burst they do go  :o

Have 12 people booked in for tomorrow and was thinking of doing some weaving, if you are coming don't forget the cream cakes.

Just relaxing at the bar in the hotel after having a steak and ale pie and a pint :)
Hope everyone enjoyed the day as it seemed a nice relaxed easy pace day with over an hour and a half basic class and at least two 45 mins on making a variation on four weaved balls and a catcher game.

The most excited at the day must have been the caretaker, he even joined in and made his own dog and brought down his friends and family to see, to say that it made his day wan definately an understatement and he was a bit of a character as well.
I did take a few pictures and will post them when I get back on Friday.

Hi Guys !!!

What a day!  It was great... Thank you very much to Graham for organising this day and for all of your patience with your teaching.  Thank you also to Bill, John, Dennis, Peter and Darren for all of your help and tips, sorry for the other names I've missed off,but will defo wear a name badge next time.
As you know I took a whole load of balloons home for my 2 little ones, well they screamed with delight!!!  I did confess, I hadn't made them but did have a go at a motorbike last night and was very proud of how it turned out - So, I have picked up some tips!!!  My head is full of wonderful ideas I can't wait to get started..
I wasn't sure of what to expect with being my 1st occasion but I really did have an enjoyable day.  It was a pleasure to meet you all, everyone was very kind, welcoming and it was a great atmosphere.  Look forward to the next one.

Thanks again everyone.

Regards

Paula

Back home after an eight hour drive with a detour due to the M1 being closed and a 30 minute holdup on the M25 due to another accident in some roadworks.

I only took a few pictures but did see the makings of a good buzz lightyear being done bt Darren but I never didn't see it finished, so did anyone get a picture?

Here are a couple I took, the first one is the caretaker twisting his very first dog  :D
and Darren & Denis with the king himself.
