Have the care & share day coming up which looks like it will be a nice small intimate number as at the moment we have no one booked for the day so far?
So if anyone goes to clubs or are on other forums would you be able to give the day a mention etc as I have to say we normally have a few booked on with the majority booking on a few days before when no work comes in.
The day has the best venue we go to with a lovely view over the cricket green, the bar is also open all day & then there is the meal after as well. So here's hoping we get a last minute rush :D

hello Graham if darlington dont happen could you do a jam on the 8/9/08 in the same place as kidology but the day before? this would be great and you might get alot of new people.
I'm guessing that the venue for kidology would be very expensive to hire.
Still hoping a few more sign up for the Darlington day.

Me! I'm coming!!! If its on that is, although I have turned up to an event before and it wasnt on anymore. My fault I didnt check. And I turned up a month early once and then the next month I tried again and turned up one day too late. This won't surprise Graham one bit though. He knows me!! So its Tuesday not Wednesday,,,,,,tuesday not wednesday. ok keep that in my head........oh a diary.... i will write it in. Wednesday....ok....
OK shall we take a chance? Seven more people have said they are coming but as yet no one else has booked online.
The hotels booked & we have to go to Manchester on Thursday so we may as well have a little :D get together in Darlington.
Better go & book a hall

Well here we are in our luxury travelodge in Sedgefield after six hours of travelling for the Darlington day, just covered 288 miles. It's a glamourous lifestyle that we lead, been in one travelodge been in them all.
Looking forward to the day as always, will try & post pictures when we get back on friday.

Well we've just got back to our luxurious travelodge in Sedgefield after a really lovely day. Eventually had 15 turn up for the day with a very nice atmosphere and a few cream cakes, although someone who shall remain nameless forgot to bring them in from the car & they all melted.
We found a really nice pub for a lovely meal so if anyone is in the area we would definately say the The Blacksmiths Arms is a must try.
Will post some pictures when we get back on Friday as I've not got the re-size picture programme on the laptop.
Thanks to everyone for helping with everything, keeping venue tidy, carrying stuff about etc etc.
Peter & Adie especially, above & beyond the call of duty.
A thanks to Thelma as well for helping with a lecture at the last moment, I thought it went very well & all the feedback I got was very positive.
So it's off tomorrow for Manchester :D :D
Thanks Graham, for yet another great day, some of the models were breath taking, and i nearly fainted when i saw how some were made!!!!

Yes that was another drama to the day with the second person fainting trying to inflate a Sempertex 260 into a spiral flower :D

Were now at our next travelodge in Bury and have to report back that we had a lovely drive over from Darlington on the A59 where we stopped at a very picturesque "tea rooms" in we think a place called Burton Abbey. Would definately reccomend them, very nice, friendly service & a nice walk around the bridges if it's not raining
Had a ropey meal in a 2 for 1 pub that was not very nice but as they sat you get what you pay for.

Graham, thanks for another great day at Darlington. :D Interesting to see how other people do certain twists and noses and bits and bobs. Loved Thelma's balloons. :mrgreen: Nice venue, too. Thanks again.
