I would just like to say how excited I am to be coming along to this two day balloon extravaganza. It will be great to have a two day break from the usual pace of life to chill out with like minded people.

Counting down the days...

We still have plenty of spaces for the memorial lecture, fingers crossed we get a few late bookers to what will be an excellent day with Dennis, Ingrid is also coming over and is an expert on the fantasy flowers and has made some fantastic dresses as well.

Still looking to put something on for Wed night, if anyone has some suggestions. The room is booked but we can have a seperate section of the bar downstairs, all ideas are most welcome.

Iam starting to get a bit excited now only a few days before I take off form Cork airport to go to my long awaited balloon break. 8-)

Looking forward to meeting like minded people and sharing some of my new Ideas.

Dennis is all set and ready to roll tomorrow, I've just brought all the stock up and ready to load the car up tomorrow. Not sure when we will drive up, Dennis is expected here about 2.30 so we may wait till after the rush hour. I'm bringing one of my baby rabbit's up for a friend to Birmingham so if anyone else needs one get in touch ASAP and I can bring two along, they are £20.
If anyone needs an order please email it over tonight as we are not bringing the full range up with us this time, dont forget the Qualatex range goes up 8% at the end of the month so stock up early, what a salesman  

We now have 17 booked for Wed and 14 on Thursday so the numbers are slowly going up.

Arrived safetly at the travelodge with Lyn and the bunny, just off to get something to eat.

Where is everyone that is staying at frankley thought there would of been a gathering by now.

We have been in the Black Horse which was about half a mile up the road, we had two meals for £10. May suggest there for tomorrow night.

Just back form a fun filled day at the memorial lecture and then 14 of us all went for a meal in the two for a tenner Black Horse.
It was busy but the food was good, many thanks to Dennis and Ingrid for coming over to lecture at the day. There was many a kind word mentioned about what an interesting and varied day it was with all the different techniques taught and shown. We also had another new member join the club so up to 31 now. Will post some pictures on Friday when we got home when I get a few minutes.
Off to get some shut eye now so that we are all fresh and ready to rock and roll in the morning.

Well Graham said we should just trust him on how good the day with Dennis would be and he was certainly right. The memorial lecture for this year was fantastic, every bit as good as last years! (which at the time everyone said was the best C&S day ever!). Thank you Dennis, Ingrid, Graham & Lynn!

Today was lots of fun too with some useful stuff and some very funny moments, I think the 2 day format worked really well and I hope we do it again once my liver has recovered from last night's excesses!

Thanks again Graham and everyone else who made it such a great couple of days.

I had a great time yesterday couldn't stay for the second day had parties booked. There was so much info still thinking of all those things I had learned. Thanks Graham and Dennis you really built up my confidence.

Dennis was excellent very funny too its a shame that more people could not come along it so worth it.
I must day I was very nervous about doing my bit I hope it went down well...

Naaaa Tony you were crap!!! hahaha  But seriously Tony you did great!!!  The model was cool and I will certainly be playing with that one.  
I had a party in the morning of the Memorial day so I missed a lot of what Dennis taught.  Thank goodness I paid for the membership.  Now I will be able to see what I missed on the dvd.  A huge thank you to Dennis and Ingrid, Lyn and Graham, Daniel, Kenny, Tony, Natalie and Diana.  I think Diana showed us how magical balloons can be in hard times.  Also she put a few things into perspective.  Lets face it we have a lot to be grateful for and we forget the pain some people are living in.  How lovely to be able to make people forget for a few minutes about their toubles with the humble balloon.  It was nice to see everyone.

Today was a fun day, not laughed so much in ages, hard to put into words as you just had to be there to see a very entertaining balloon modelling lecture    It was great.
Thanks to all who did a little spot, Kenny, Daniel, Diane, Natalie and Tony. I to will be working on the fron to put into a real world situation.
I thought it went very well Tony for your first time of explaining in front of everyone.

The journey home was not to bad, a 10 min hold up around the M42/M40, have put a few boxes away but will do the rest in the morning.
