Goodmorning all,
After a long journey back we arrived at home at 1.30 AM so after a good nights rest we our (almost) complete fresh and working again.

We had a wonderful time with you all, catch up with old friends and make new friends. Great to hear everybody liked the stuff I did in my lecture. It felt like a mini event with the 2 days of fun and balloons.
For those who could not make it, you really missed 2 very fun days. For everybody who is not a member of the Balloon Guild, don't wait, register today!
Initiatives like this is what we need, twister who united and increase the level of twisting and organise days like this.
And because every member gets a DVD of the day (also if you can't make it) it is a very cheap way of increasing your skills.

Love this model that Dennis showed us here my attempt

Working on Tony's frog with the fly Dennis showed and a little variation from myself with the feet/body, I will definately be using this next week at Southend.

Well I just got home five minutes ago. Just to say I had the most amazing time with amazing people. Thanks to Dennis and Ingrid, Lyn and Graham, For Orginising such a wonderful 2 day event. Also Thanks to everyone else who shared there Ideas and laughs. This is why I wish I was living in the UK because every care and share day and
New lecture is like a breath of fresh air. And I would love to have the time and money to attend everyone of them.

I had an absolute great time, the 2 day format definitely a winner.

Picked up a lot of new stuff to road test this weekend.

Thanks to everyone there who made it such a great to time, with some very interesting moments that only the 2 days can bring.

A slight delay in getting the pictures up from the event as I had two shows yesterday and a busy weekend coming up as well.

Some of the sculptures Dennis would be showing during the day;

The straw through the balloon was a definate hit at the day;

So many very usable models, techniques were shown;

It's amazing the difference making the second model can make, I was following along with Dennis while doing other things as well to make sure the day ran smoothly'ish.
The proportions are far better and everytime the model was made it looked better, well to me they did. So if at first you dont succeed, please dont give up but try again
