This is now all confirmed, I have to find a venue in the Sutton/Banstead area and decide what day Ed will lecture. He will fly in on the 31st Oct so I was thinking it may be better for him to do the Friday 2nd in case of flight delays and giving him time to adjust with jet lag etc. The lecture will be filmed for BAG members.

Ed suffer from Jetlag???? The man is a human dynamo who needs almost no sleep!  I still remember when he  and his family stayed with us a couple of years ago. We were visiting various tourist destinations at silly o clock so that we could fit as many things into a day as possible. Buckingham Palace at 1.30am was particularly memorable. I think we rarely got to bed before it was getting light  then he was on the internet catching up with business!  After a couple of hours sleep,  he was fresh as a daisy and ready for more sight seeing or driving up to Scotland in a day to visit Colin and various other people. He has amazing energy.
it was Mike and I  who suffered the "jetlag" after he left!

I know you will be staying at home Graham but is there any local Travel lodge or cheap B&B for those coming from afar?

Perhaps when you've booked the venue it will be easier to look into this!

It will be a BAG day on the Thursday and Ed will be lecturing on the Friday, booking details, http://www.balloonartwholesale.co.uk/catal ... -23-1.html

Anyone coming to either of the ED Chee days we are having a walk in the door competition. Bring a balloon model to enter already made on either day.
We will have a nice prize for the winner.

Ed is teaching on the Friday, on Thursday at the moment I will be doing a basic class, David Crofts is doing a surprise lecture and Barbara Roll is doing a short workshop on Hoola Hooping.
I am looking for one more balloon lecture so if any club member is coming along and would like to do a short workshop then please get in touch.

Please pass on details about the day as we are always looking for more people to attend the days, non members are most welcome and after we go out for a meal, all are welcome.
