It runs from the 5/7th Nov, I flew out last time from London City airport early Monday morning, the options are a bed in a dorm sharing with 4/6 others or
I had a single hotel room that was a 2min walk away within the classroom area so it was great. I think the room was 35 euro's with breakfast.

So the question is does anyone else want to come along as well??

I might...depends on how summer/early fall goes! Sounds like fun! I'd be coming from the USA.

I also want to attend the World Balloon Convention in Denver CO in March 2014.

I was looking at flights today and other options, it seems there are no flights out on a Monday now and the Sunday flight is already at £188 just one way.
Apart from Munster/Osnabruck airport I'm not too sure what other option there are as it does seem a little out of the way.

Any updates on the travel situation? I would love to go too.

My room and registration are now booked, the local hotel is already fully booked and you need a car to some of the others. I have a bed in the youth hostel but have my name down for a room in the hotel just in case one becomes available. Sometimes it's nice to walk away for half an hour with your own space. Just trying to sort the best times out for Gabriel who has kindly offered to pick me up from Frankfurt airport.

In case any one is thinking of coming to this event there is some bad news, THIS IS THE LAST EURO-JAM

Flights are all booked now as well, BA wanted £238 so I booked Lufthansa for £116 return.

If anyone is thinking about coming over to euro-jam there are only 10 beds available in the youth hostel and all local hotels are now fully booked.
The youth hostel I believe is 29 euros a night but that is for full board with 3 meals a day so a bargain but there are 4 and six beds per room.

All ready for Euro-Jam next week, been in touch with Gabriel and all is OK still for him to pick me up from the airport. Trouble is I have to leave home at 5.30 am Monday morning and my son is not too happy as he offered to drive me to the airport. I'm at Portsmouth the day before at the second hand magic day with a dealer stand and also doing a lecture. Going to try to do a 100% new lecture so that should be fun on Friday sorting that out.

Sitting at the airport, had a lovely breakfast. It was so nice I took a picture of it.
Flight goes at 8.45, Frankfurt here I come, then onto Melle.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone and playing with balloons for four days.

Arrived safely yesterday, Gabriel Is an excellent and sensible driver, it was about a 3 hour car ride. The jam room was well buzzing last night with so many attending the very last euro jam as known.
There is no internet in the convention centre (Youth Hostel) so I'm at the local hotel that I stayed in last year and there internet is hit and miss so there might not be too many pictures or updates till I get home, Sharing a room with six is....................shall we say fun. As soon as I got here I did ask the hotel if they had any last minute rooms but alas no, still it will be an experience and at 20 euros for bed, breakfast and an evening meal it is a bargain.

First attempt to re-size and upload pictures from my new smaller compact travel laptop, here is hoping it works, fingers crossed.
Had a slight technical problem that I saved the pictures as a BHP and not a JPeg but hopefully they are about to load onto the forum.
My breakfast at Heathrow yesterday was excellent, the scene in Frankfurt airport and another new tank design.
