We are staying at the Lymm Service Travelodge if anyone wants to meet up the night before for a meal somewhere local.

Gutted! Won't be able to come to this one as away on business found out today when I asked about leave

Arrived safe and sound at the travelodge in Warrington,traffic a bit slow around Birmingham and got held up for 15 mins but not too bad.
Had a nice coffee at stop one and then at stop two there was an M&S so we tried the new sugar free ginger beer, YUK  
I love ginger beer but this was horrible. Just off out to see if we can find somewhere nice to get a bite to eat.

We found a very nice pub just up the road on the way to Macclesfield, it was called the Bears Paw. If anyone is local I think it may well be worth a visit.
They do a special if you are early from 6/7pm, three course for £13, and they do bread and butter pudding which is just my favourite so that was a bonus as well  

Thanks for yesterday Graham, I really enjoyed it.

Quite a low key day in C&S terms (as Manchester always seems to be) but I still picked up several tips and ideas that I will be using in the very near future.

Hi Martin, yes it did seem to be a quiet low key affair, on Tuesday morning we only had four people booked in for the day so Lyn and I were not expecting to get to double figures for the day. We ended up with 17 through the door so were pleased, I do wonder why Manchester is a difficult venue to fill especially as they have the biggest magic club in the UK so you would hope to pull in a few from there as well.

Maybe I selected the wrong subject matter to show and teach, I thought the session and a half on the basic and then the hats went OK but when we got onto the bride and groom there did not seem to be many wanting to join in, although yourself and Lucy did seem very keen to get as much from the session as possible.

For the first time in ages no one joined us for a meal, everyone had gone by 4.15 and it did have the feel of an unusual day. Maybe I should keep mum and not mention things but as they say we are what we are. Hopefully everyone picked up something from the day, I liked the way Tom added the heart to the flower I showed. There were some nice quick and easy Christmas designs shown and shared and Emma's Rabbit was nice, Rhian also had a couple of nice models. When I go through the pictures I'm sure other things will spring to mind as well.

I was catching up with things today and we had a family get together lunch time to remember my Mum who passed away a year ago today, will sort out pictures from the event tomorrow and post. I had to sort out flights and get tickets sorted for Euro-jam and I got a new Children's magic magazine the other day and there was a 3 balloon guitar in the issue from Tony Balloonman who is a club member that I have been having a play about with so will also post some variations on that as I believe tomorrow at the moment is free for me.

Yes it was nice to see you again Dave after all those years, you never phoned, wrote or even sent a card, still nice to have you back in the latex world.
