Well I am pretty gutted that I won't be able to come to this gem of a workshop.  Patricia is on my MUST SEE list so its blooming typical that I won't be in the country when she is here.  If you have an appitite to learn some great fun balloon models you should go.  Graham, can't you keep her here till I get back???

Patricia is lecturing in Holland today for Denis and Ingrid at HaHa Entertainments, I'll be picking her up at the airport tomorrow afternoon for her Wed lecture in Birmingham.

Yesterday we had Patricia over for a lecture with us (United Twisters) in the Netherlands.
Besides the fact that Patricia is a very loveable woman (and her husband Dennis is a great guy) she is a great teacher and a true inspiration.
She showed a lot of figures and also a lot of off ideas how to use the techniques she uses for other figures.
So for everybody who didn't yet booked a ticket for her workshop with Graham tomorrow, stop hesitating, take the day of if you have a regular job, book a taxi, boat, plane, car, bike or any other method of transport and make sure you are there at the workshop.
I promise you it is worth it and will not regret your decision.

Good news, i'm in birmingham tomorrow, bad news I cant make it ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Picked Patricia and her husband Dennis up from the airport yesterday afternoon and had a leisurely drive up to Birmingham with only a small minor hold up.
Then found a nice traditional english pub to take them for a meal, turned out to be a lovely evening with plenty of funny conversation, Patricia was even telling a few jokes  
Very much looking forward to the lecture today.

Wish I could have been there.  How did it go then?

Thanks to everyone who came along to the day yesterday and a special thanks to Jason for going out at lunchtime and buying everyone a cream cake.
My favourite models from yesterday were the eeyore and pony hat/ride in, most usable and I did enjoy the last session where Patricia was showing her in developement and ideas section, I found that very interesting.
Paticia , Dennis and I are sitting in my lounge having breakfast and deciding where to go today, probably off to see a show in London and to the London Eye.
