Off to the Scottish magic convention tomorrow with my old friend Pearse, we are going up on the train for a hopefully relaxing and care free journey with luck
Will be doing a lecture and my balloon/magic act in the gala show with Pearse doing his award winning comedy juggling act which in my opinion is the best in the country.
Really looking forward to it and have been doing a fair bit of rehearsing all week as well, just in case.

Well the conventions over and I'm sitting in the far end of the hotel trying to get phone and Internet connections
Have just one bar up so it's a little slow, yesterday was a bit of a stressful day what with making up the props for the act and waiting for the evening show. Funny that no matter how many times you get up to perform I always get very stressed out for these events.
The whole show seemed to go down reasonable well from what I was told , it's hard to judge from the dressing room    
Pearse had a good show as usual, he really is a great act and nothing went too wrong with my act and the lecture this morning was fine so all in all a very nice way to spend a few days
and everyone made us feel right at home, it was also good to catch up with Colin, smiley balloons and have a chat and drink with him
We catch the train back tomorrow at 10.30 and hopefully will gat back to kings cross around 5.00 p.m. if all goes according to plan.
