Many thanks to all those who attended the balloon day yesterday, I was a little apprehensive as we were
going back to the day being a little more casual and laid back, as they were when we ran them as the
"Care & Share" days in the beginning. In case anyone was interested this is the start of the 18th year
of myself running the balloon days in the UK, A little nod here to David Grist 💞 Happy memories xx.

The day seemed to go down well and we had people looking at the designs and trying to reverse engineer
them before I explained how I put them together. We then had little groups formed making separate
deigns during the day as well. So once again many thanks to all those who attended.

A special thanks to Liela, Lord G and Caroline for running mini sessions during the day
on weaving a champagne glass, the mermaid/hair idea and the weaved flower.

I will be posting the pictures up over the next few days.

This was the explanation of Dory after everyone had 20 minutes or so to see if they could put it together.
I thought it was an interesting exercise and we did get some positive feedback... which is always good  ;D

The Princess design that I think Caroline showed. Caroline also brought Ayse along to her
first balloon get together and it seems she is taking to it like a duck to water.
You have to encourage the younger generation.
So wishing her well with her new adventure xx
