I'm setting off to the magic convention tomorrow, it runs from Monday evening and all day Tuesday and evening again.
They do have a few tickets left if anyone would like to attend, this is the website for details, http://trixinthestix.uk/
Back from an exhausting few days away but enjoyed seeing everyone and now recovered ;D
Some pictures from the event, before anyone had arrived.
Setting up the stand.
The stand was set up in the morning and then I was making a few balloon designs in the afternoon.
Finishing the stand.
And the room filling up with the other dealers.
They have a badge competition at the convention so when I saw some I did try to get a few pictures.
A few more.
And a few more, Julie in the Pink and White top had a nice little story to go with her design.
Another badge and the snake design.
I was trying to make a King's crown for a boy to wear, a few Punch and Judy people gathered for a picture.
Then it was show time in the evening.
Gary and John did a little talk before the evening stage show. The Tit of Shropshire, which is done every
year was unveiled by a gentleman from America who came over especially for the event.
Pat Fallon opening up the gala show with his wonderful assistant, a classic magic act.
There was a presentation to Russell Brown with an award for promoting the art of children's magic at the Blackpool Magic convention.
Nikola Arkane was then on with her cups and balls act that was performed on Sweden's got talent and got her through to the semi finals.
Then is was Dave Allen and his son Jacob followed by Max Fulham.
And the star of the show was this gentleman who was very funny but I will have to find out his name.
I was told he was on Phoenix nights.
