I'm off to the Trix magic convention this afternoon.
It starts tomorrow afternoon and goes on till late Tuesday.
It's usually a sell out, well it was but a few people are selling tickets still over on the
facebook page as they have had to drop out of coming.
So if you wanted to come along you might still be able, I enjoy the convention.

Just back from Trix, took a few pictures so will post over the next few days.
I took a few pictures from the workshops/lectures etc.
The convention was dedicated to Jeremy, He was a lovely man with time for everyone.
And the convention did him proud, many saying it was the best one ever.

the main thing, it was funny.

The ribbon effect was very funny and usable and the dressing up for children would work fantastic.
Dave was making the apple for his 30 day challenge so he could add the worm.
Ken Scott and lecture number one, the rope effect looked very magical and seemed to be the hit of the day for some.

I have to say Julie had a nice way about her, did not rush. It was an excellent presentation.
Martin and his talk on getting shows into schools.
The winner of the badge competition and then the winner for the star prize from the raffle.
500 pounds was raised for the save the children fund.
There was an extra prize in the raffle, the side banner that Gary used in one of the sketches
from the late show. Everyone signed the banner.
There were also a couple of special awards.
Cheryl and Pat were both awarded 'The Jeremy Le Poidevin Award'
This will be an annually award given out at the convention.
The start of Rafael's lecture come crazy fun show.
Then it was Ken's last lecture which was mainly on sound systems/effects/apps etc with remotes and foot switches.
Lastly it was to the bar and a mini balloon jam.
Heidi made a candle and stand and Royston who flew over very last minute for the event made the star wars design.

Heidi has never twisted before, I thought it was a good effort.
