I attended the Trix magic convention on Monday and Tuesday of this week.
Really enjoyed it, a few pictures.
Putting the bird on its pedestal and above Jeremy.
Carisa Hendrix opened the show followed by Olly Graham.
Then it was Keith Fields who I used to see many years ago
at the cabbages show at the IBM.
Then Rafael and finally Tom Binns with his hospital radio persona...
So FUNNY......................
The late night naughty show had Buster Balloon with some VERY adult humour.
George Firehorse who I always find funny but a little nutty.
Then it was Sam who is the current family entertainer of the year.
Gary and John hamming it up and finally Keith Fields with a song he
used to perform at the IBM cabbages show some 25 years ago.
That was the end of the Monday night entertainment.
The day started with two 15 minute power presentations from Pip & Paul and Stu-di-do.
Martin and his badge made from the ends of 500 balloons.
Lucy with her badge. Olly Graham with the first main lecture of the day.
Olivia made some balloons for the staff at the hotel.
It was then the Keith Fields lecture.
Andrew green power presentation.
Buster Balloon with his lecture which had to be changed
due to the airline sending his luggage elsewhere.
The winner for the best badge went to Dan Slater.
Buster was awarded the "Jeremy Le Poidevin" award
with a special poster the Trix team had made up for him.
Carisa with her magic and bubble lecture.
Last lecture of the event was from Rafael with his tribute to Ali Bongo.
Thanks to all who organised and made the event happen.
There is so much behind the scenes to do for the event to run smoothly.
