I attended the Trix convention this week, I'm there as a dealer every other year so this was my turn to be a participant.
We took a few pictures form the event, the dealer hall.

Last ones from the dealer hall, there was another smaller room but I never took pictures from there... oops!

The opening show, Pat Fallon opening the event with the traditional opening. Bringing in the great tit of Shropshire by
the person who has travelled the farthest to be at the event. This year it was Jack Sharp all the way from Australia.

Ryland the Kid Magician opened with Barry Mitchell all the way from America and then Craig Petty who is Ryland's Dad with his YMCA routine.

Mark Shortland, I always find Mark funny. The from BGT we had Steve Royle closing the show.

It was then onto the late show that is rather shall we say "Blue" but very funny.
John, Gary and Max did the hosting and a few sketches between acts.

Noah started off the evening with his Classic theme tune rendition from the Titanic, the Mark did a little spot again.
Then it was John, Kelly and Dov with a sketch about bubbles, was very funny.

Then it was Magic George to close the show, he always makes me laugh with some absurd comedy.

Then it was the main lecture day with two mini talks to start, one from Scott on making balloons profitable.
He kept mentioning making the Unicorn and made just the Head/neck section as this is what he
gives away when playing the Race Game put out by John Kimmons.

The second mini talk was by Steve Burley on entertaining in care homes.
This one I thought was an excellent talk with some useful and helpful information on the subject.

Mark Shortland was on with the first main lecture of the day, he had a good queue for sales after.

Olivia after she purchased some.................... well I cant say but I was shocked, he he.
Jason, Mr Shiney did an excellent lecture and talk, which included the spinning plate ideas.

Jamie Riding did a talk on Pantomime and being a Dame. Then it was onto raffle prizes being won and £600
was raised for the local children's hospital. Cheryl was there to hand out the awards, she used to run
Practical magic with Jeremy and ran the convention for quite a few years.
Was really nice to see her and catch up XXxx

Then it was the awards, Tristan got the Martyn Lewis Hero award for all he did on the Trix website during lockdown.
Then Sue Oakley received "The Jeremy Le Poidevin Award" Sue is always about at the convention helping with everything
and anything plus also running the raffle ever year which this year raised £600 for the local children's hospital.

It was standing ovations all round.

Steve King won the badge of the convention with his working magic trick badge and free registration for next year.
It was then onto the two evening lectures with Barry Mitchell all the way from the USA
and Craig Petty from Birmingham way

The closing ceremony for the great tit of Shropshire.

On the way home Tim mentioned a local viaduct we should see if I had time.
I only saw it from above but it was very impressive.
