Many thanks to Graham and Lyn for a lovely day! Was my first care and share day and hope to be able to attend more in the future!  Was great fun learning new models and techniques.   Thank you to Colin Myles and Thelma Lovett for there informative lectures.

Well we are nearly back to normal with everything stocked back in and all the balloons put away, have to say that Lyn and I got home the most tired and exhausted we have ever been after a care & share day. Probably due to the numbers involved as I think I counted all the 50 people turning up plus Debbie from Qualatex, Colin, Thelma, Lyn and I.

There were a couple of technical hitches with two of the mystery lectures unable to attend which I did know about, as they all do the care & share days more or less as a favour, I do give them a small amount of product in return but they are always booked in on the understanding that if a proper full paid job comes in then I'm happy for them to take it. This did happen to one lecturer and the other one his wife had to have a major operation so was unable to attend. So we went to plan B and Colin Myles was kind enough to step in and do a lecture on his weaved ball and flower and Thelma and I did an unplanned extra 30 mins each, Thelma with her weaved and distorted heart and I showed the ride in horse and bow and arrow game I play in shopping centres.

So apologies for anyone that did come along expecting the golden nugget and line work for the real world lectures but as is always stated, they are the plans "'ish".
The days are always run at a very nominal cost and this one was free with the voucher back system and there was definately something for everyone with two very experienced twisters in Colin Myles and Thelma Levett, I do appreciate you did have to also put up with myself at the day, but then again you can't have everything  ;)

I have downloaded the pictures and will post them once I have got them re-sized.

Even though I couldn't make it I would like to say thank you to whoever gave the shark to my mate Caroline at the end.  She brought it with her to mine today for our regular playdate(!) and we are now both able to do an impressive shark.  I know she mentioned on more than one occasion that she missed your name and would love to be able to credit you. So if it was you please step forward and let us know who you are  ;)

Here is a link to the one I made this afternoon:-
