Thanks Rob, perhaps I need to do a post, "The Joys Of Being A Balloon Dealer"
Back home after a 14 hour day, getting stock ready to load the car, then loading the car, 2 hour drive, unloading, setting up, making balloons and chatting away for 8 hours,
packing away, loading up car, 2 hour drive home, unloading the car, putting stock away.

   So there you have it, the fun of being a balloon dealer/wholesaler.......................but I do enjoy it.

So sorry not to have been around, as you know I would have helped you in any way I could.

As it happened, where I was working was really quiet, and all I was thinking was I could have been there.

I did wonder if you may have popped along Kevin, Simon was there.. Assuming it was quiet for you as the sun was shinning and people would be out on the beach?

A few pictures, I did leave a space for some of the magic. It's amazing how few people came over to look or for a chat.
I heard Claire Balding speaking on the radio on the drive down and she was saying that while shaking a bucket for charity the day before about how many people looked away, walked off in a different direction to avoid her and she felt for the big issue sellers and people begging on the street. She mentioned it would be nice to just smile at them and say hello while walking past, which is what I do try to do myself. It was an interesting listen and I remembered it during the day, it was funny when some try to get pictures of the models without us knowing. PLEASE if you would like a picture or two from the models just come over for a quick chat and ask, would be lovely if you bought a few things but not everyone can and a chat is nice and maybe next time you will be in a position to buy.

So back to the pictures from the day.................
I have noticed that I do seem to make the same models at these events, I'd better try harder next time for a more varied selection.

I had a go at the track's on the tank that Rhian showed at the Leeds event, mine did undo sometimes, it might be as I was chatting and trying to make at the same time and this was the first time I attempted to make them. I had a simple version one side that I normally make and Rhian's idea on the other so people could compare, no one looked    But I did change the look of the tank by adding a raisen into the 350 for the turret.

I had a really interesting day yesterday at the Magic Convention, it was good to ee you and have a chat Graham.

I changed the face of the dog and tried without the Geo Blossom, I made the teddy in grey at another event I attended and rather liked the look of it, so made it again.
