Fun, laughter and mental health
« on: November 21, 2019, 11:24:28 AM »
Hi all.
My name is sam and im from tasmania. There is a couple of reasons i got into balloon twisting over 10years ago.
1. Im a bit on the odd side myself. I worked in a cafe and found it as i way of entertaining the kids that came in with there parents. Every lunch time i would make more for the following day.
2. Its really the only thing i feel im really good at. They say everyone has a talent. I didnt feel like i found mine till i started doing this.
3. I love love love the reactions on the peoples faces when im able to create the thing that they wanted.
4. I suffer from mental heath issues and oddly find this very therapeutic for me. Everyone things im strange when i take extra gigs over and above my normal day job but it never feels like work to me. I feel like im having fun.
I stumble across this site and love haveing and seeing the group of like minded people who live the same thing as what i do its nice to have someone to bounce ideas off and understands my oddness and addiction with balloons.
Look forward to getting to know you.
Sam the balloon twister
