Made this today, Graham. Excellent instructions - as always. I used the first method which was really straightforward, and I actually used two different colours the first time so it would be easier to follow. But makes a great football with only 2x 260 balloons.

I used two 350's Tim, I do mention it in the instructions and say for the first few times you make
it that it would be easier to use three 350's. Not sure where you got the idea I made it with one 350.

I have made it with one 260 and scaled it all down.

Oh blast! That'll be why I had so much difficulty, Graham... I should pay more attention to your immaculate instructions in the future.
I used one 350 for the head and another for the body.

I experimented with different coloured noses, and found black to look better than the chocolate brown.
My favourite is with grey 350s - somehow it looks like a "cleaner" design (not in this photo).
