October 07, 2014, 12:54:30 PM
these are from Thelma's CD, kind of practice for me.
if you do not wish to buy the whole CD, now you have an option to purchase 1, 2 or 3 models from her collection, look for "Pick & Mix" at her website.

Picture Gallery / Thelma Distorted
September 08, 2014, 02:14:36 PM
I've posted this at the Chit Chat section, then I realized that some might not visit that topic; therefore I decided to re-post it in this picture gallery.
This is my first try on Thelma's CD, Thelma Distorted, The Snail.
A very unique technique, worth the money to get one copy and learn although I have yet to try on other designs in the CD.
(notice how the two small bubbles joint to the head at the top, 100% no glue;  that's the new technique is all about)  :)

my next party, birthday boy requested Geronimo which I have never heard of.  Managed to google the picture and tried making one.
I am sure there are better ways making it, sincerely seeking advice please.
Many thanks.

Picture Gallery / God Of Fortune
February 10, 2013, 03:50:05 PM
Today (10 Feb) is the 1st day of the Lunar New Year. To many (especially in the West),  God Of Fortune is probably unheard of but he is one of most popular characters among the Chinese during the new year season. We (Singapore) celebrate Chinese New Year.

I bought this PDF file some time ago and I love all the designs. Recently I re-make this Dachshound (red) and then modified the hind leg (yellow).
Didn't hear from Bonnie for quite a while, hope to see new creation from her soon.... :)

Picture Gallery / whale puppet
May 31, 2011, 01:21:19 PM
Thanks to Michael Floyd's instruction, I managed to do the mother whale in the first attempt using 350 as body and 260 for the fins.
I then "down size" it using 260 and 160, and the baby is born.

Picture Gallery / Lobster
March 24, 2010, 02:22:12 PM
learnt this from Balloon Oyaji; After doing this, I thought it would look better if the body length is longer. No complaint since this is my first try,  shall improve it in my next attempt.  :) [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] P1010888s.jpg[/attachment:5h4wsgo7]

Picture Gallery / "watch dog"
March 22, 2010, 02:18:44 PM
In Singapore, we are not allowed to keep big dog in government-built housing estate, so I put one balloon dog at the door. Thanks Bonnie for the Dalmatian. :) [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] P1010887.jpg[/attachment:32a0xdw6] [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] P1010886.jpg[/attachment:32a0xdw6]

Picture Gallery / David Grist Bi-plane
March 11, 2010, 04:15:28 AM
I also bought David Grist's DVD Vol 9 recently. Looking at the publication date, I think I am 6 to 7 years late making this bi-plane, which is my first attempt. But I 'm sure it's not too late to learn his skill. This is also the 'biggest' balloon model I ever tried.
(I cheated a little at the front as I didn't have the round balloon for the engine   ) [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] DSC02897.jpg[/attachment:e9z5qrxe]

Balloon Chit Chat / Balloon Cart
January 04, 2010, 02:36:31 PM
Hi everyone, this is the first time I post photos in this forum though I have been following the forum for a while. I came across this little shopping cart, just added a few pieces of wire mesh and it becomes quite handy for balloons display. The bag can easily contain more than 1000 balloons and there is space for a pump, 2 boxes for my scraps & markers, and my water bottle too.
I learnt a lot from the CDs I bought from Bonnie & Thelma; the designs are very nice and instructions easy to follow. I also learnt a lot from this forum, thanks to all the experts who post their designs here and share their experiences .
