Thats lovely - although that tail doesn't look too "quick" for me!!!

the tail can be done in less than a minute, it is just four 160s joined together small four bubble locked then two balloons together twisted then other two twisted above and so on, called chain link twist because if all done same length looks like chain links! I am sure there will be detailed instructions somewhere. It is very useful makes a fab snake dragon etc

That's a pretty cool looking dragonfly Seraphim. Thanks for sharing it!!

I was playing around with the design this morning trying to see of I could get the tail to curve upward at the end and to see if I could get the wings to rest horizontally.  This is what I came up with.  I was actually surprised how quick it was to make.

Thanks again for sharing yours!

I lost one of the tail bubbles before I could take the pics, but it still looks pretty cool.

Bonnie, your vesion uses 4x160 for body and tail, 4x160 for wings and 1x5" for eyes, that's right?

No Magicseb, I used 2-160s for the wings and 2-160s for the body.  I just broke the 160s in half when I went to make the body otherwise I would have had either one huge (long) body and tail or a lot of excess balloon.

you cant see on my pic but i used the excess balloons to make a handle to hold the model aloft, the eyes are a white heart softly inflated and twisted in center. Scraps of balloons for legs.

Thank you seraphim, I thought you had used 4x160 like I told to Bonnie cause your tail is so long, but it's maybe a impression, due to the angle of the photo. I like very much the colors you used.

I love both models, it's very pretty and seems rather easy to do

It's probably because the maximum size picture on the forum is 480 x 600 so you need to adjust your picture size.
