There is no gala show tonight as the venue is hosting a Chinese pop concert so we are off to have dinner with the Chinese goverment officials that have put the event on and promoted it throughout the country, we spent the afternoon doing decor for the room. Will post some pictures later.

Long time no see  
The metallic violet w black accents dress was mine as well as the metallic periwinkle dress.  Sofie's was the Metallic Midnight Blue dress.  Colin made the 50's style poodle skirt in pink and white.  Hopefully, there will be more pics from this event.  Asi, Koen, Sofie and "Jack" (not sure what his Chinese name is) made dresses for the dinner ceremony.  We are currently working on some of the pieces for the next event - another 15!   After that, we will prepare for the final night gala, something never seen here in Shanghai or anywhere else in the world.  Well, back to work.

This is the third time of trying to write this post as the good old laptop and the internet connection seem to be playing games withy me, so here goes again.

Just back from the Chinese office where we have done the parade which is just one long laugh and full of fun, the Chinese people are just so enthusiastic about anything that we do and we end up being in picture after picture all the way around the parade route.
The two shows went well today with around 2/300 hundred watching and again absolutely fascinated with just everything that they see. One of the funniest things today was during the second show when Bidou was up entertaining, they had to move half the audience as a car wanted to get out of a side road. The chaos it caused was only what could possibly happen in China, one for the memory banks. We will be starting early tomorrow as we will be on the festival stage where they have to pay to view and the audiences so far have been very very small. We get the large crows as the promotional stage is free for anyone to watch and view.

Very tired tonight as the heat and humidity certainly seems to sap your energy and we had no chairs all day in the dressing room come brothel that we change in.

One of the clowns did a speech last night at the main meal that was very funny and just taking the michael at all the things that are going on here and not working out, perhaps we should not say to much but it was a very funny speech and hit the nail right on the head so to speak. Just  hope the translators were a bit vague about what was said.

The body painters came from all over the world, I thought the first picture was rather daring for China as they have been painting with the police watching closely and making them change certain things due to taste and culture.

Just going to take a break for 30 mins or so and get some fresh air and nibbles from Tesco's which is nothing like the supermarket at home, they sell live frogs to eat
