okay Thelma,  I started a thread...here is my tractor, it's pretty fair sized (made with 350s) and takes under 10 minutes. Instructions are on the Best Balloons for Boys DVD.

This one is I believe Donna Jaffke's design and made with 260s. Can be made in under 5 minutes.

Totally worn out from working today.  Won't be able to have a go till Monday.  I have never done a good tractor yet.

Hi all,

Sorry if it is changing the subject just a little bit, but last month I was involved with a gig by the Wurzzles, and had to make some stuff relevent to their songs.

I came up with a combine harvester, the starting point of which was a tractor design I saw on here somewhere.

I also did a cider drinker, which I was quite pleased with :D
Kind regards
Kevin

Hi Tonya,

Thanks for your comment :)

In case you didn't know the Wurzles are a band from Somerset in the west of England, who had a no.1 hit in the mid seventies with a song about a combine harvester.

All their songs have an agricultural theme, and they are best enjoyed after about 8 pints of strong cider!!!!!!!

The band members don't look dis-similar to the character I made :D
Kind regards
Kevin

Here are a couple of new tractors.  The smaller one was made for a birthday party, the bigger one was made to auction off at a school carnival.  Both were made with mostly 350s.

This topic has saved my bacon!  I forgot until yesterday that the birthday for this afternoon's party wanted a tractor balloon and I've only ever adapted the Thomas the tank engine one to make a small tractor.

Anyway here is my efforts.Tractor.jpg[/attachment:zf9nqyaa]

Once again a big thank you to Tonya.

I am sure I will be asked for more tractors later so if I can I will post a picture of my simple tractor.

Bizarrely enough I didn't get asked for a single tractor at the party!! but the birthday boy was completely overwhelmed with his tractor.

Just because I promised and it would be nice to offer a small something in return here is my simple tractor.  It is a little basic but the kids still seem to like it.simple tractor.jpg[/attachment:26y5im5x]

3 balloon tractor - 1 yellow 260, 1 green 260, and 1 black 350/360 (It's easier to make with a 360, but if you are careful a 350 works too).

Happy twisting,
