Hi Erlene

My flower bouquet is not dis-similar to yours. I hope you like it.

It may be an idea just to bow the stems in your arrangement a little so the flowers aren't all shooting dead upright.

Love the vase.

Thank you all for the feedback....It means a lot to me :)

Tonya thanks for your comment!! I love the bow idea. Actually, I made one for that bouquet but didn't like in combination with the vase design. I like yours with the bow... I think it's really necessary when we use short vase.

I made this today for the man who came to fit my hall carpet.  I had a model in the lounge and he was really interested so I showed him some pictures and he called me the other day and asked me to make some flowers for him to give to someone. I made the flowers but thought it would be so much nicer to have something more.  So I made the big teddy holding a scroll of paper because it was for a graduation.  I did consider doing a lady with the flat had and robes but he had called me and asked me to make some flowers and I just priced it for that.  The teddy bear was an indulgence.  I kept it seperate so if he only wanted the flowers he could take just them.  He was thrilled, took photos, cards and gave me double the fee.  He was talking about "next time I order a balloon" and said everyone who got their carpet fitted would have to see his photo.  :) So I think I am safe to assume that was a success.

I have been working on a dvd, hence my absence.  I am getting a bit carried away with it.  Its going to be a bit different from the usual.  Its my awkward nature.  I always have to do things different.  Tut!

I always knew that when decorators start twisting (seriously and enthusiastically), great things would happen - more twisters learning decorating techniques would be fab too!

Notice, that not only has a 5" cluster been used, the sizes are graduated... VERY nice :o).

Hi Andy
Thank you for the nice compliment from you - and the little plug about my cd!!!  I can't see what you used from my cd for your lovely flowers and vase but thanks anyway.

Erlene I was just looking back over this thread and notice I didnt make a comment about your vase but would like to.  Its great!  I like the way you have bent the stem round too.  Well its never too late to comment.

Hi Thelma

Thanks, the flower I made from the CD is the white with red center. I did not use the stem that you make with it. That was my first time trying that flower and found it easy to make. I want to make another one with the stem you make and tighten the flower up a bit more.
So thanks again
