Here is a model I came up with the other day.  I gave it to my father-in-law later when I went to visit him and put some LED lights in it and he used it as a night light.

Fantastic stuff Thelma, I was just running out of ideas for valentines slowly but surely, I didn't even think of cupid. I love the way you made this scene look.

Thanks everyone.  I might re-make it and put the lights on it to show how it looks lit up.

Awesome work Thelma...what a great idea for a centerpiece!  I love how you stuff and shape balloons.  I wish I had the patience for that.

Thanks for sharing it.  Glad to see you posting again.    :D  :D

Hi Thelma,

Love your Cupid. I had not thought of Cupid for a Valentine balloon ( I'm a bloke, what do we know  :D  :D) so with your inspiration, this is what I came up with.

Tomorrow I will take it to my friends girly boutique, where she let's me advertise, and maybe get a couple of orders in.

Thanks for not only this, but all the other ideas you inspire us with
Kind regards
Kevin

Thank you Kevin for such a nice compliment and for showing what you did.  I bet they will love your balloon.  The face is really nice too.  I have got a bit lazy with my faces.

Here is another one for Valentine Day or weddings.  It would be nice to make two of them to stand on either side of the doorway and to add some more detail to it.

Wow!! (Sorry Warren)!!!  :)  Thats a big flower.
I was asked for 6 floating hearts for the outside of a restaurant today but it was extremely windy and there was no way any balloons outside would have been any good.  So I made some designs that could be taken outside if the weather calms down.  I put high float in them even though they are not floating so that they will last a decent time.  On the way out I took this photo of the heart I made for them almost three weeks ago.  I keep checking it because I want to replace it with another sculpture when it gets a little tired but after nearly three weeks it is still looking pretty nice.  I didnt even put any high float in it.  I also made one for the care home where my father in law is staying and I took that away today.  But the temperature in the home is quite high so it did really well.

that one is 3 weeks old?  It still looks great!  Did you treat the outside with anything?
