I went out with my friend this week to a local restaurant. We had our usual balloon jam over a couple of beers and decorated some of the staff. This led to free drinks all night, plenty of publicity and two bookings! So if you are wondering how best to promote yourself then go out, have fun and see what happens...

The same thing happened to me.  I went out with some girls after work to celebrate one the girls leaving.  I had my bag with me because i'd made her a balloon on her last day.  I ended up getting them out and made loads of quick designs got offered free drinks and got a booking.  Top night.  I loved the randomness of it and the punters loved it.

There are a couple of pubs I do this in, one local to me at home and one where we holiday, its a great way to break the ice and get a good evening going, with the added positives of possible work and free drinks, both of which i've had  :D
I also meet up with Dave when at my Mums and we jam in a local pub there, a few good afternoons have been spent this way   :D
