This is a 660 mouse made for a display piece.  He stands about 2' tall and holds a 160 candy cane.  Someone on FB commented about the difficulty of using 660s (or 646s as the case may be) and I have to agree.  They are a bit rough on the hands to work with.  I only use them for display pieces and even then I try to keep the twisting as simple as possible.  There are only 5 - 660 bubbles used for this mouse: 2 for the thighs, 1 for the chest, 1 for the belly, and 1 super soft one for the back.

Happy twisting,
Bonnie, The Balloon Lady

Super cute!

Did you use 350 for the face and 260s for the ears?

great job on the balloons Anita, I love the angel.

I love that mouse Bonnie! I never would have thought to use 646s for the body like that...makes a great chubby body!
Have a happy day <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=\":-)\" title=\"Smile\" />

Hi Bonnie,

That mouse is lovely. The one I had to make was Big Santa.......His photos are on here.

He didn't turn out too bad, but I am not that happy with his overall shape, he looks too tall and skiney. I will work on a different design for next year !!!!!!

Wishing you a very Happy Christmas, and loads of love for the New Year :D  :D
Kind regards
Kevin

Kevin, thank you for the compliment on the mouse. Your Big Santa may be a tad bit too tall for his weight, but I've heard being on the thin side is fashionable. ;) Wishing you a Merry Christmas with lots of love too! :)

This is my last Christmas balloon for this year.  Another challenge issued by John Christianson. lol  This time it's: Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (In case you are not familiar with this, it's a Christmas song played in the US) She has a woven dress and her bloomers are made using a large heart.  The glasses she wears are mine! lol

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I am back Richard.
It was great getting to meet some of you at TMJ and also great seeing some of you again.
There have been some really awesome balloons sculptures posted here.
I didn't get a chance to make many new things this year, but I am going to post some
designs from last year along with our typical Holiday line work stuff as soon as I figure out how to resize my photos.

If you want to see some of our our Seasonal photos, just look up Adventure In Fun on Facebook.

I hope all of you are having Funtastic Holidays!

Here is a BIG Santa I did last year.

If I was doing him again this year I would work on giving him a fatter body, as I think he looks a bit skinny here.
Kind regards

I know I have seen some amazing nativity Christmas scenes in the past, but I can't remember who it was who did them.  Does anyone know who it might have been?

Thanks in advance

Thanks Phoenix - I have done the one off his site (it's Bill Beatty's from memory)
This was a huge scene, and he always does one each year.  I have a feeling he might be spanish or south american maybe?? (but I could be completely wrong about that!!

Hi Lisa,

I checked on Balloon HQ, and there are a lot of Nativity balloons by John M Forbes.

If you are not a Balloon HQ member type "John M Forbes Nativity Balloons" into Google and it gives a link.

Hope this helps  :D
Kind regards

Just discovered this in Balloon Magic Magazine Issue 51... A wonderful design by Dee White. Yes that's me wearing it. A little hard to take a photo of myself!
