Was playing around with Mickey design, I quite like how his shorts turned out. He stood up as well.

How did you make the buttons on his shorts?

Thanks I used an Eddings white marker, then yellow sharpie to colour over them.

Rob - you can also get yellow paint markers but I haven't been very pleased with mine. If you want to be really flash then you can make a shallow tulip twist in yellow and glue them to the shorts.

My first model with these balloons was Mickey made using tulip twists for buttons following Grahams instructions in Model of the Month for Sept 2008.

It is my intention to play with Mickey to try and create a model with a more rounded head.

Here's one I made from a Carl Skene's design... the face is a little rounder.

Is that a mix of 260's and 350's?

260s with the trouser legs being 321Qs (in theory you could use 350s instead) - I think i prefer Rhian's face over my one!

Saturday I had my first ids party (done as a freebie for a friend) and the little boy loved Mickey Mouse so i ATTEMPTED to do one, lol

I used FlowerClown's (youtube) design and thought it turned out pretty rubbish... people seemed to like it though
