My attempt of a mermaid Lalaloopsy Doll for my daughters friends birthday tommorrow..

I hadn't heard of Lalaloopsy before - but she is just great, her hair especially is fantastic - your daughters friend is going to be so pleased.   I have just been working on a creation for my daughters friend's birthday too - but hers is a butterfly themed party so thankfully fairly straightforward.

It is a great design, I love!. His eyes, his hair, but certainly the best for me is the bond of her hair: D

How cute, I also haven't heard of this character but I'm quite sure the little girl will love it!!!

Thanks for your comments.  It nice to hear it.  My hubbie (who does twisting as well) thinks the black eyes make it look a little evil but the doll does have black eyes.  I post a picture of what I used to make the balloon.

I don't think the black eyes look evil.   Here is my first butterfly - not in the same league as yours but my daughter as my test 3 year old was quite happy - particularly with the flapiness of the wings.

Thats great.  I see a lot of thought going into the shape of the wings and body.
I going to be placing an order for more balloons.  I dont mind adding a couple of bags of mixed 250 count coloured twisting balloons onto my order if you like if you are running low.  Takes a couple of weeks for delivery thou.  I send my contact details direct to you if interested.

I didn't know the character as well but I think that, besides being really lovely, you did a great job in reproducing it!!
