Im slowly building up my repertoire of designs for busking work. So I'm looking for suggestions for sculptures that are visually strong to the layman and quick to make.

On my one balloon menu so far I have rabbit, pig, dog ,monkey, motorbike, teddy bear, swords, guitar (chi twist version) flower bracelet.

On my 2 or plus I have, mermaid,, teddy on a heart, monkey in a palm tree, fish, flower with stem, lilac plant

It's a small list at the moment, slowly growing it.

Any suggestions gladly appreciated.

Thanks - chris

Hi Chris.

http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/medi ... 971&type=3

These are the models I make regularly when I am out and about. I have a board with the pictures on, and charge the same ammount for every sculpture. Curently I charge £2.50 each (2 for a fiver works well) but I may go up to £3.00 in the summer.

I would VERY HIGHLY RECCOMEND any of Twistina's cd's her models are excelent for this type of work, and really well explained.
Kind regards
Kevin

I havent tested this yet for a little boys reaction. I always like to gauge a designs impact for the 'what is it face' that kids have no fear of expressing.

This is my set up, but you can't see my balloon case.

I do a lot of Music Festivals during the Summer, and this "Air Guitar" is really popular for kids and adults. It only uses 3 balloons, and is very quick and easy. It is by Mike Floyd, and he has a you tube video explaining it.

I also think Graham has something similar in a model of the month.
Kind regards

I have only ever done one fair, but at school am always making quick things for the kids. My favourites are the one balloon parrot cos you can put a bit of shirt or something between the pinch twist feet so he stays on the shoulder. I also like making T. rex. He uses two 260s plus I use a 5inch round for the eyes but have used scraps (as in the photo). He really goes down well.
Hope you find these of some use. :D

Ken Stillmans alien hitch-hiker has become a must for me. 4 balloons but fast simple twisting and massive wow-factor

I really liked the T tex one. Just tried to copy it as I couldn't find a YouTube vid on it. First ever sculpture I've made from copying a pic! Very proud of myself. Though if there is a tutorial of it somewhere id like to see it?

I also like the 1 balloon poodle. The girls love it in pink and it is a much better variation on the classic balloon dog.  :D
