First fantasy flower

Here is a picture of my first fantasy flower. Reckon I used the wrong wire plus only had masking tape to keep things tight on. Very diddly, can't see me doing many of these type of balloon creations :)

Nice fisrt one , really / you should try to bent the end of petal to give her  another  appearence ( more stretch the balloons on bigger wire ).  Oscar .

edit : my 1st one was badder .  :mrgreen:

use florist 19 wire and florist green tape...

nice work for first go

Thanks for the feedback, it is really useful :D . I was using the wrong wire.
Showed some colleagues at school today and crude as it is, it went down well.
It might yet be a once in a while challenge. Would love to do enough for a small display.

Can someone tell me if there are dvd's on how to make these flowers? Or maybe a youtube video?
How did you all learn this technique?

Janice Whitehead from the USA has a CD with details and Ingrid Hogers teaches the technique but not sure if she has any instructions on this.
There was another thread just the other week asking the same questions, if you do a search there may be some more answers there as well.
