I was having a play with the nose structure of the Teddy tonight, I think it looks better in real life than the pictures.

I really like this variation graham. How did you do the nose (not the black bit - the muzzle I suppose)?
I love the extra balloon for the eyes, it completely changes the look of the bear.

We all have our cross to bear, but some of us need more wood than others!

I like these, I prefer the white eyes too but the others look great, Do you mind if I have a go? :D

Yes please have a go,
it's always nice to see how others come up with the design or something a little different, once you start to play as Antonio said you never know where it may lead you to.

Here is my attempt at your Bear Graham, I will have another play around with it and see what ideas I can come up with.

I reckon I made hard work of trying to copy this. Clearly my lack of technique showing. I could not get the nose and eye combo right.  Still, end result looks ok. (Just don't ask to hold it) :)

I am not quite sure how Graham did his nose (not HIS nose but the one on the bears), yours is looking good Areyouhappydad, its difficult to get those bubbles all the same size and even, I often have that trouble.

I could not figure out the nose either. In the end I went for two bubbles twisted together by the knot end then split twist those. Attached the eyes and black nose bubble then created the bear as normal. Had some very odd looking creatures before I got something close to Graham's. :D

And to add even more trouble to the design, the back of the Teddy has two central bubbles.

That would certainly prevent the head and rear bubble being pulled through which was a major pain. Going to give it one last go.

Forgot to say the nose is not two pinch twists, but that does seem to work OK, I may have a go with that later.

Much happier with this version but still took a while. Not quite line work speed for me!

Ahh I went for 4 (3"ish long) bubbles all joined together in a bundle and then the forehead and ears get built around those if that makes sense.

So in effect, before you add the eyes and nose, the back of the head looks the same as the front of the head.

Graham,
If the nose is not two pinch twists, how did you do it?
