Just back from a most enjoyable day, it was nice to catch up with old faces that I have not seen for possibly 3 years and some new ones as well.

Just to say I had a great day yesterday too. It was well worth it. Many thanks to Lynne, Graham, Barbara and to all the new friends I met. We soon gelled and made some great models. It was a well planned day and I learnt to twist a mexican, the weaved flower,plus other styles,  rabbits, bears, rhinos, aeroplanes, helicopters..the list is endless.

It was the first time I've had chance to get to one of these days.  I had a great time, really enjoyed meeting everyone and trying loads of new ideas.  Will definitely try to come to the one in Bristol!

The food was excellent, you do have to wait as it's all cooked fresh but it is well worth it.

We did have a little problem here but we all felt that they sorted the problem out very well and went beyond what they probably needed and kept everyone happy.

Some pictures from the day, we have booked halls in out of the way places before but this one in Ashbrittle may be the best one to date.
The centre of town is just a village green, the second picture is the village green, there are no shops. The Village hall does not even have a postcode.

The phone box is the village library, honest. Having said all that the drive there was very picturesque and tranquil and I think everyone had a nice time and learnt one ot two new designs.
