Thank you Graham for asking me to do the workshop at the Care and Share event.  I really did enjoy doing it.  Thanks for the nice comment too.  Oh and thanks Christina for the knickers!!!!!! It was a pleasure to meet everyone including some fresh faces.  A very friendly positive Care and Share day.  See you next week for MJ.
Also thank you Llyne for all the work you do in the background.

Thanks for a brilliant day. I learned a lot and laughed a lot. Everyone was extremely welcoming to us tentative newcomers - not least Roger, who offered to share his wheels with a complete stranger on the way up, but drove back to London with a friend.
Can't wait to wring rubber with you again! Best wishes, Natalie.

I hope she warmed that pen up!

Thelma showed us some wonderful seasonal models - all I have to do is remember them - but when the CD comes out I'll be getting it

The Santa was my favourite. I took a lot of photographs of it, This weekend I'll try to make one for my grandson. He will love it if I'm succesful.

I like the technique she used to make the Santa face. A technique shared with the Witch; very effective and probably very useful as a general technique for lots of things in the future.

Did you find out who made the one-balloon comp winner?

And while we're at it, does anyone know who made this one? It was one f the very first models made and I really liked it; its head is way ahead of my Horsey. I figured out the lips but couldn't suss the ears. The mane and rest (the general 'dog') is the same as mine but I'd love to know how the ears were done. I can't get that result.

Henry, The look of the ears two pinch twists, then come down for the neck & front legs then do the mane up & around the ears & back again then onto the body & back legs.
Hope that helps?

Sorry it's taken  me a long time to put something up here about the day, but it was brilliant..my 1st..but most certainly NOT my last.

Tanks for to all those who took the time out to share what you do you lot are really talented. It has showed me what can be done with balloons. It has made me think about raising my game.  It was also good to see some of the equipment some of you are using. Mainly the floor pumps for me. And the Sempertex balloons.

Twistina, I am most certainly practising. The thing is, I keep making the same mistake I was making on the day... :x    well with practise as they say.

So thanks Graham for the really good day. When will you be coming to Watford again
