Roger

Ok I have been trying to make a baby for a guy at my wife's work who is coming back from work tomorrow. I have tried and tried my wife has said and I have tried  "fatter arms thinner arms bigger belly its got ribs don't like ribs it needs hair no perhaps it would be better bald" bellow are the 3 best I have come up with and she doesn't like any of them.

Please please has any one else made a baby it must not have a dummy/pasifiyer as evidently they are politically incorrect now (WHAT NEXT ITS ONLY A BALLOON SCULPTURE) any help would be much appreciated.

There are foils to go with it and this is just a free extra.
But I don't like to be beaten.

Yours in desperation

Hi Roger,

you made some nice baby's,... ....well I must agree with your wife. I like them but not as baby's.
I think the one with the brown hair looks the most like a baby, I really like his body, but he has to much hair! Can you make another blush bubble where the hair is now, or did you already try that?

Hope this helps....

I like the 2nd one :)  Can the pinch twists under the chin be smaller? but thats a real minor thing.
I reckon you've just spoilt your wife with all the other wonderful things you have made, either that or shes getting fussy in her old age

Hi Roger,
I like the 1st one!  May I suggest, keeping #1 but instead of brown use a flesh balloon and draw a curly q.  Hope that helps. Sherry

Hi Roger,

they are looking good, however I think the suggestion of a bald baby is a good one.

Also you could set the baby on a lovely blanket!
Another prop could be the ABC cubes (usually seen in Red Blue and yellow!).
Or a ultra cute teddy bear!

hope that helps,
Danny

Here is another baby.  It is only a small one but you can use the same technique to make a bigger one.
Things to remember about making a baby.  The head has a bigger ratio to its body compared to the adult figure.  The arms are shorter but the hands are bigger for a cartoon baby look.  Same goes for the legs.  The body is best small if you are putting a nappy on.  The eyes are BIG.  One of the common features of many baby animals including humans is that the eyes are big.  This is why it is good to draw big eyes on models you want to make cute.  Small eyes don't look cute because they dont say baby.

Hi and thanks for the help
Have tried most of your suggestions and Gill (my wife) did not like them especially when I gave it a bald head..
I just think Gill had gone of the idea of a balloon baby.
I think Thelma's are really nice as well but Gill said "oh no".

I made a bear as per Danny's suggestion and guess what I ended up making a brown 360 bear with a blue bow.
Oh well.

2 more pics
One what I was happy with and would have sent (I would have added a dummy if I had not been told not to).

And also here is a pic of it with a dummy.
