Joining the forum

Due to spammers and some ******************* Please insert your own words here, I have had to dis-arm the automatic joining to the forum.
I think I have had to delete six new members this afternoon.
You can still join the forum but I have to confirm and authorise your membership, hopefully they will go away again and I can put it back to normal.
We do have security and anti spam filters but unfortunately if people manually sign up there is nothing we can do.
I also think that possibly members 979,980,981 are spammers.

The spammers have been busy this weekend, so far have had 23 attempting to join. Please email me privately if you are attempting to join the forum and do have a genuine interest in our latex artform via any of the websites listed below.

The spammers are still going strong, have had over 200 trying to join this week.

In the past two weeks we have had 533 people attempt to join the forum, apologies if anyone really is trying to join and I have missed you out.
If I have please go to either website advertised on the news page and email me and I will activate your account, thanks.

Just back from Blackpool and I have over 500 emails from people trying to join the forum, altough 99% are spammers.
If anyone has tried to join and I have not as yet activated your account could you please email me via the advertising logos at the top of the forum pages and I will sort it out ASAP

I have just set the site so that new members are not able to join automatically. I have just had enough of the spammers, will try and get some more security on the site to make it more difficult for them to join. If anyone does want to join the site please email me via the advertising banners at the top of the page.
If anyone does have knowledge on phpbb templates which the forum runs on and would like to help with addding a few new touches to the site then please get in touch,
