I see you also do magic ( I have the magic marksman as well great prop but a little tricky) how long does your magic show/ party last and why did you decide to use magic as well as doing balloons?

what other wearables do you do? (love the sponge bob)

My magic show currently lasts about a half hour. I would like it to last longer but have some reservations about children, especially the younger ones, getting bored. A typical party for me is an hour including magic, doing balloons and a little music quiz, which I give away balloon sculptures. I do have a pa system along with my Ipod to supply music etc. I would love to extend this to a 2 hour show with games, longer magic show (incl puppets), balloons, party dances etc but am still gathering all that info together. If anyone has any thoughts on non-eliminating party games then please feel free to PM me!!

I decided to add the show about 2 years ago. I was working with a guy who did a kids show and he helped me put one together which was a big help at the time. People wanted magic and balloons for their parties so had to oblige. Supply and demand!

Other wearables I do are the pirate ship (took me a few days to get my head around it) David Grists big stuff along with a lot of Don Caldwell stuff.

To keep in business and to keep improving my own skills

22, If you could start all over again, would you change anything?
Start from an earlier age.

23, How would you like the future of balloon modelling to develop?
I would like balloon modelling to be recognised as a proper art form. When we do the sculptures out and about I'm sure we all get the ahhs and oohs so people obviously appreciate what we do.

Since I'm not much good at making things up and have to copy – more DVD releases please!

24, Who's the most famous person you have made a balloon creation for?
B celebs really like:
Chico, Same Difference, Ray Quinn, Noel Edmonds, Niall Quinn, Zoe Salmon, Becky from Coronation street, Jacqueline Wilson, Shane Ward (although never got to give it to him personally), Cheeky Girls and don't forget the Mackem Mover!!!

25, How do you keep the enthusiasm going & what still excites you about our great world of latex
There's always someone who keeps coming up with new ideas and designs. I just like making new stuff.

26, What inspires or is your thought process in coming up with a new design
I mostly do it on demand like when someone who is booking me for an up and coming gig.  I cannot play with balloons and think 'oohhh that could be a ....?).

28, What makes you laugh?
The Lottery – I only get 1 number from 3 lines every week.
Other than that I  think it's funny in a cynical way to watch 'Who wants to be a millionaire' to see every episode the contestants are from either Kent, Essex, Sussex, London or the outer Hebrides'. Anyone from the North East rarely ever gets on. Watch it – see what you think!
