Just been in touch, waiting reply. I wonder what competitive pricing means?
I quoted £275 for an hour on and off on an 8 hour day.
If anyone does quote please add on 10% for commision for balloon chat  :lol:

What do you mean by competitive? And can't you post the pay rates and your job requirements for all to see?

It may save wasting everyone's time.

It is a free event so chances are they want cheap entertainment...

not necessarily.. we do lots of 'free' events usually for local councils etc
free to the public to take part in but we got paid...

look at the torch relay - how many of us have been booked for events where that has passed by...

too far for us.. cant even contemplate accom prices in london during olympics and if we took boat down havent they said mooring are £7000.. for the month

Cant see it being cost effective somehow!!! lol

whilst in the live site for the closing ceremony the sun newspaper were offering free facepaint with every copy of the sun and many people in the cue had simple balloons.. maybe this is what that was?

after googleing the number I was right!! I love a bit of detective work!
