Hi gang

Apologies if this has been asked before (I did do a search on the forum, but couldn't see anything)

Has anyone had a bespoke or 'one-off' outfit made for them?  I currently don't have anything as such - I usually turn up for gigs in a polo shirt with my company logo on it, a pair of black trousers and shoes but I'm thinking about getting a 'look'.

In a nutshell, I guess I'm thinking about a tailor or someone who can source fabric and make a suit, or perhaps a shirt, pair of trousers or a jacket.  Can anyone recommend anyone (UK based, preferably) or give me any pointers/advice where to start looking?

Many thanks as always

Tony Twist has had a great suit made for him but I can't remember where he got his made. It was in the UK and not that expensive.

I am looking for a new outfit too so will be interested in any suggestions posted.

The one I use at the moment was made by Heidi of Heidi's Costumes heres a link to her facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/heidis.costumes

Many thanks for the replies so far!

Danny - yes, I think I remember Tony talking about his suit (the orange zoot one, I think it is) at TMJ last year, now you mention it...

Thanks for the link Wayne - I'll check it out (and I promise not to go for anything purple)  :)

I have several outfits requested by clients, and usually offer a 50% cost  basis for them if I think the outfit will be useful for the future, it's a good way to have something you wouldn't usually buy, at a much reduced cost.

And often its not much more than hiring an outfit, and makes the client happy.
