Does anyone have a vector of anything twisted?

I am currently designing a logo for myself to get embroidered onto some workwear.  The idea I have is to use wording like I have on my website but I did want something like a balloon dog or similar embroidered too so it is more obvious that I am a twister rather than some random nut job!

I have found someone who embrioders onto quality (Fruit of the Loom) clothing at really reasonable rates and am going to get myself a couple of polo shirts, a fleece and a sweatshirt sorted.  Once I have my order in I will share the lady's details but I don't want her to get inundated with orders and not be able to do mine for ages  ;)

I did this for my face painting stuff and wore it to my job yesterday (for the Saracens End of Season / Family Party  :D ) and it drew lots of comments and requests of business cards as I have it emblasoned over the back of the sweatshirt & fleece as well as smaller on the front  :)

I am slightly confused as to what you are after, but I am impressed you did the Saracens party, in my humble opinion not the best London based team ( I am a Wasps fan) but still a very cool job.
My in-laws are season ticket holders at London Irish and they took my wife and her brothers to the St Patricks day match,  my wife was resplendant in a green and white balloon top hat with a black and gold band on it leprachaun style, unfortunately she left my cards at home  :(  :o  never mind there is always next time.

I painted at that game too!!! and to be honest I know nothing about rugby so couldn't actually tell you who were players and who weren't but could make an educated guess about some of them  ;)

Basically what I am after is an image of a balloon dog that I can use for my logo.  Not the most inspirational image to use but certainly the most commonly known.  A vector image is one which does not rely on pixels (unlike any other type of picture format) and can, therefore, be resized any which way without losing quality.  I am able to convert images into vectors but clip art and drawings are better for this as my program tends to over complicate vectors and I cannot get the look I am after.

Hi Yvonne,

As an idea could you use the posterize feature along with the contrast adjustments in photoshop to reduce a photo down to a silhouette and then convert it to a vector?

Two small problems  ;)  firstly I don't have Photoshop and tend to use Corel and secondly I do want some basic shading and outline on it.  This image would be perfect if it hadn't been cropped so there is a small bit missed at the bottom and if I knew who to contact about asking permission to use it.drawing of balloon dog.jpg[/attachment:27v1d4yd]

Hi Yvonne,

I used that same picture a while ago for something else and re-coloured it, is it any good to you?

Perfect Graeme thank you.  I wasn't able to find a complete pic anywhere despite spending far too long yesterday looking.  Do I need to get permission from someone to use it or is it one of those images that are everywhere and no idea where it originated from?

With a little help from you lot I have managed to sort something out to have embroidered on some polo shirts.  Not sure whether to get a fleece or a sweatshirt done as they are both nice and whilst I prefer the zippered hoody I'm not sure if it may look a little casual?  What do you lot think?

Yvonne I just found this pin badge that I bought at TMJ a few years ago and thought it may be OK for you????
I took the picture on a black background as hopefully it will be easier for you to take out the background if it's usable for you.

Excellent Kev.

Well I ordered a couple of Polo Shirts with the logo and I have to say I would not recommend this lady any more.  The first lot of stuff I ordered for the face painting were great but the quality of the embroidery and the communication this time are not as good.

The stitching is passable at best (and I will have to put up with it as I just don't have the funds at present to get any more done) but not at all what I had expected and she has yet to contact me despite my asking when I paid and again once I recieved the Polo's.  Will shortly be leaving negative feedback and if anyone knows a reputable place for embroidered workwear without a minimum order I would be greatful.

Hi Yvonne

I've used Revolution shirts in Coalville a few times and they have been good. I know they have no minimum order for printed stuff but I'm not sure about embroidered items though
