I have been booked for a gig on the 28th August at Skelwith Bridge hotel near ambleside, between 12 and 4pm. They have asked if I can find a facepainter!

Being really thick with geography where is that?  I network with an awful lot of painters (some of whom are on here) and am sure I can recommend someone to you but I have no idea where Ambleside is!  :oops:

Ambleside is in the south lake district, in the north west of England!

Right I now know where the job is but have no idea if any of my contacts cover that area cos again I don't really know where they are all based properly  :roll:

I have, however, posted it in the work available section of my face painting forum and will hopefully be able to give you some names shortly!

Bizarrely enough I've not had a single response to my posting on FPC!!!  I will bump it again now but I can't believe none of my painty mates are based near there!!!!!

I used the FACE website and phoned around. Nearest is Carlisle and Blackpool. Most people booked out or won't travel. The lady for Blackpool seemed interested but wanted a fee. (don't blame her) so passed on her details to the hotel. If you can find someone I will pass on their details.
