Your daily rate, plus 1/2 your daily rate for the travel days.
Plus accommodation and travel.
Travel can be extended to and from the airports and during the stay from hotel to gig and back.
You can ask for "per diems" - ie a daily subsistence cash payment for food and local expenses.
They can also pay for any visa's you may require. And Excess baggage fees both ways - if needed.

Make sure you have a watertight contract - obviously.
Sometimes you can make them pay before you leave the country as claiming fees & expenses back could be near impossible.

This is one way of doing it. You may not get all the above, but you can try!

I hope this helps

Ditto on the payment up-front.  I insist for all international gigs (or international agents booking me for local gigs) 50% or higher paid before the travel or gigs begin, which ever is sooner.

I have heard of a number of entertainers being 'stranded' in countries when the organisers ran out of money or refused to pay for some other reason.

As long as it is a country where you are fluent in their language and culture and know a number of people personally, it isn't as important, but if any of those factors are missing, insist on full VIP teatment, or reconsider if you really want to go...

In my opinion...

Proceed with caution too!  I've never been approached myself but I know of various others that have and as far as I am aware none have actually gone as for one reason or another it all seemed a bit fishy.  I have no idea if these are the same people but I do recall Dubai was the destination.

look out for for any any contract (written or verbal) that is "Inshallah"

It literally means 'If Allah wills it'

basically if it all goes pear shaped, Allah didn't will it, and you don't have a leg to stand on.

I like Yvonne have been asked to perform in Dubai by an agency but it all seemed too fishy when you try to get more details. Be carfull buddy.
