I'm getting serious about this balloon modelling stuff....well not that serious.

I'm now in the proccess of contacting agents (my previous post here) as suggested. One mentioned a promo photo. For a promo photo what would you suggest? I can't afford too much. Would a photo of me holding a couple of different balloon models/hats , taken on my camera suffice?

Thanks for anythink here
Steve

I always think less is more. You do need a quality picture but with all the editing etc that can be done in photoshop etc I'm sure you could end up with some nice shots yourself.
Can you take a few & put them up here before you get millions printed up. I'm sure you'd get some positive constructive comments on them.
Another thought is that Stuart the guy who does all my website work is fantastic with the camera & adding things into the shot, his website is http://www.catterson.com.

I had some recently done. They are now up on my website on the Walkabout page. Not totally happy with the Balloon angel shots so will have them redone again.

I scouted around the internet looking at photos of people balloon modelling. The conclusion I came to was its a photo of YOU with balloons not Balloons.

 hope that helps
