As its coming up for the Queens celebrations in June we thought we might go for a two balloon quick'ish line work Crown.
I have started a thread with quick line work designs and there are a couple of variations on the Crown design
you might like to look at, https://www.balloonchat.co.uk/balloon-chit-chat/line-work-designs/
They are over a couple of pages so don't forget to click to page two.

This is what will be in the complimentary packs with every order for April.

If making for a child perhaps make every bubble 2 fingers, I did three finger sizes on this design as made for an adult.

Inflate the 260 chrome leaving 10 fingers un-inflated. Make a 3 finger bubble followed by a 1 finger pinch twist.

Make another 3 finger bubble followed by a 1 finger pinch twist and then repeat again.

Make another 3 finger bubble and now a 1.5 finger pinch twist, this will be the lower centre section of the crown.

Tie the knot around the larger pinch twist. Make two more 3 finger bubbles and then another 1 finger pinch twist.

Make a 3 finger bubble and this twists onto one of the side pinch twists which will be next to the larger lower pinch twist.

You now need a 3 finger bubble down to the larger lower pinch twist, this doubles up one of the bubbles.
Then make a 3 finger bubble back up to the other side pinch twist, this doubles up another 3 finger bubble.

So with the lower pinch twist central you should have a V shape from the doubled up bubbles.

You then need another 3 finger bubble and a 1 finger pinch twist.
Then make two more 3 finger bubbles and attach to the large lower pinch twist.
Discard the rest of this balloon.

Inflate the other chrome balloon leaving 4/5 fingers un-inflated and attach to one of the side pinch twists.

Make a 3 finger bubble and attach to the lower large pinch twist.
Then make two 3 finger bubbles and attach again to the larger lower central pinch twist.
Gently push these into the top section of the crown.

Then you need another 3 finger bubble and twist into the other side pinch twist.

The rear of the crown should look a little like this. I always have a lot off excess balloon at the knot as I pull this tight
into the large lower pinch twist while pushing the side pinch twist towards the centre. As there is only one bubble in
the Silver chrome at the side and a double central bubble at the top, the crown pulls the side bubbles out slightly.
By pulling the end of the balloon to the centre pinch twist and then to the other side pinch twist
this tightens the lower section up slightly and for me looks more pleasing to the eye.

Don' worry if you do not have enough slack on the balloon at the knot end as when you size the 260
around someone's head there will be enough slack balloon left to do this from the other way.

I stretch the 260 chrome at this point to try and thin the 260 down slightly so it looks more in proportion with the crown and not to bulky.
Picture C20 has the 160 inside the 260 chrome inflated.

You could put a 160 inside the 260 chrome so it inflates to a 160 size or the other idea is to use a 160 clear for the headband section.

The crown with the 160 inside the chrome and the clear 160 so you can see the difference's.
Then made in a different colour, hope the crown is of some use for the up coming Queen's celebrations in June.

And perhaps try 2 finger bubbles for the crown when making for a child?
