This months complimentary pack in with the orders will have the balloons to make the Fox, I have used the colour Coral.
This will be the step by step guide that I will explain.
A few variations that I made.
The wolf, although possibly more a dog and a variation on the fox.
I then tried a cat from the design.
Here are the instructions for the Fox.
Inflate a black 260 approx. half way, the excess of this balloon can be used for the nose.
Make a 3 finger fold twist so approx. a 6 finger bubble, followed by a 2 finger pinch twist.
Make another 3 finger fold twist.
Make two more 3 finger fold twists to make the feet of the fox.
Inflate the 260 Coral and leave 5 fingers un-inflated, I then made a fold twist slightly larger than my hand.
Between a 4/5 finger fold twist which would be approx. a 9 finger bubble.
Wrap the knot of the balloon through the fold twist a couple of times to secure tightly.
Make a 2 finger bubble and then a 2 finger pinch twist.
Then a 4 finger twist for the first front leg, wrap this into the four black 3 finger fold twists.
Make another 4 finger bubble for the other front leg and twist this into the 2 finger pinch twist.
You then need a 4 finger bubble for the body and a 2 finger pinch twist.
Then a 4 finger bubble for the first back leg that is twisted into the black fold twists.
Then the last 4 finger bubble twisted into the rear 2 finger pink twist for the second back leg.
The length of tail will vary, on the occasions I have made the fox it varies between a 10/12 finger bubble in length.
Make a 2 finger bubble at the end of the balloon and twist this into the rear 2 finger pinch twist, so giving you a large fold twist.
Adjust the bubbles to look like in the picture.
Inflate a 160 white for the mouth/cheeks/tummy/tail. Leave approx. 5 fingers un-inflated.
Make a 3 finger fold twist.
Then make another 3 finger fold twist followed by a 2 finger pinch twist.
I do not add this to the head of the fox till the end but you may want to add this now as it might be easier.
I then made two 4 finger bubbles and twisted the balloon back into the two 3 finger fold twists.
The nose will get attached here later.
If you have a look at the finished fox you might prefer a slightly longer face section so make these bubbles two 5 finger bubbles.
The lower section of the mouth I made a 4 finger fold twist, if you are going for a longer mouth section then make a 5 finger fold twist here.
Attach this to the lower section of the head, I made a 2 finger bubble and twisted this into the pinch twist of the fox's neck.
You might prefer to break off the balloon here so you do not have the white bubble on the neck, then re-attach the white 160 at the pinch twist.
Or make as I have done and twist the 160 balloon a couple of extra times around the upper and lower neck and then pop the
white at the neck once the model is made.
Push the white 160 between the front legs for a white belly section, twist the 160 around the rear pinch twist.
As my tail was a 5 finger fold twist I made the two white bubbles on the 160 4 fingers in length and twisted the
second bubble back around the pinch twist and 2 finger bubble at the top of the rear legs.
If you have a longer or shorter tail here then make these last two bubbles so they are a comfortable push fit into the tail.
Make a 1.5 finger bubble for the nose, tie loosely so the nose does not look like a pinch twist or use the end of a balloon.
Leave some excess on the nose and push this down between the two 4 finger bubbles, I then pull the excess of the balloon tightly up the outside
of the bubbles and wrap around the nose before pulling the excess into the back section of the mouth at the top of the neck.
By attaching the nose this way it pulls the nose up and slightly backwards for a more pleasing look, well I think so.
Hide up any excess or cut off.
Inflate a 160 coral approx. half way. Make a 4 finger bubble and a 3 finger bubble.
Make a 2 finger pinch twist that will be his eye in a while. Tie the knot of the balloon around the pinch twist.
You then need a 2 finger bubble followed with the other 2 finger pinch twist that will be the second eye.
Make another 4 finger bubble and a 3 finger bubble and attach to the second pinch twist.
For safety I then make another 2 finger bubble and attach the balloon around the first pinch twist.
Get rid of the excess balloon but leave some excess of the 160 coral here, since making the fox I have an idea that will help sit the eyes more securely into place.
See even now the fox design is evolving.
Push one of the ears through the loop twist, if you struggle here then next time make the loop twist a little larger.
If the excess of the coral 160 is pulled down tight'ish and under the mouth of the fox you can then attach up and around the second
eye and it will help to pull the two eyes into the correct place on the head and also hold it securely in place.
Draw on a little artwork and there you have the fox, I hope you like it as I'm rather chuffed with this design.
As I mentioned earlier it might look nicer with a slightly longer face, 5 fingers in length instead of the 4 fingers that I did.
Don't have coral so I made it in orange. I added a white tail tip because I think that always looks cute on foxes.
Now the real problem is.... I STILL don't know what the fox says, but mine mostly said "squeak" as I was making it....

Yes I was in two minds about adding the white tip for tail, I did post one here with but decided to do the instructions without.
Thanks for posting.
I had a few issues, a cheek popped on me so I did a running repair with the left over 160, and I just can't seem to get the ears to sit the same as Graham's. But, overall I'm fairly happy with my first try.
Here is my attempt!!
Photo quality isn't great unfortunately.....
I definitely need to work on his eyes/ears...not quite sure what happened...haha
ive not used coral before, it a nice one! here is my Mr Fox!! he even managed to catch himself some lunch!
The competition closes on the 7th March, so still a week to enter.
We only have four entries at the moment so a good percentage chance for people to win.
Here is mine then.
Thanks for doing the competitions Graham.

Here's my go at the Fox. I changed the tail for a 350, and used a 260 for the ears as I need to restock my bag with 160's. A choccy brown for the feet and nose for the same reason!
I used the rest of the 160 white for two eyes.
I might be submitting this twice, not sure it uploaded
I popped round to see Graham and Lyn at the start of the week,
They did a great job servicing one of my floor standing pumps which had had a lot of use and had accumulated a little bit of dust etc
Many thanks again for the complimentary service !!! and the fancy coffee
A little late announcing the winner this month as we were up in Birmingham running a couple of Care & Share Balloon days.
The winner out of the hat this month is Kim, Congrats.
I made the fox today with a couple of modifications.
I used 2 full balloons plus 2 scraps (orange ears with a hidden pinch twist in the middle, and the nose) and a puffed heart for the tongue. I also changed the paws for a bracelet.

Is that me?? Did I know I won this one???
Yes I think it is Kim. Have to find the DVD list now, I posted it somewhere on balloonchat.
Woohooo.....I think I have the list somewhere, although I'm not sure which ones you have left now
