We have gone with the Ghost hat as the tutorial for this month and I believe it is a first as we are sending out a round
11" balloon for the first time. Usually the designs are all made with modelling balloons?

I will try and add the step by step ASAP.

Inflate the 11" round balloon with 16 strokes of the pump. The outward and inward stroke of the pump is 2 strokes.
16 pumps is 8 complete strokes.......... as clear as mud, he he.

Tie the knot at the end of the nozzle so the air can move up the nozzle when you twist the round balloon.
It needs to be about 40/60 when making the twist but make to what is pleasing to your eye.

I have just tied an un-inflated around the balloon here to take the picture to show you.
When making I do make the arm first so that when we split the round the arms will hold this twist in position.

There is excess nozzle on the balloon and I always re-shape the head section and tie the knot lower down to get the shape required.

Inflate the 260 White leaving 6 fingers un-inflates, make a 1.5 finger bubble a 2 finger bubble and a 3 finger bubble.
Twist the first and third twist together and push the 1.5 finger bubble through the larger bubbles so the hand can not be untwisted.

Then make a 7 finger bubble for his arm and a 2 finger pinch twist.
Wrap this tightly around the twist in the 11" round a couple of times so that it is totally secure.
You don't want the air escaping back and forth from the head to the body.

Make another 7 finger bubble, then the second hand with a 3 finger, 2 finger and 1.5 finger bubble and twist
these together as well and push the smaller bubble through the larger two bubbles to secure.

Cut off all the excess balloon on the round and 260 to keep the design looking smart.

Inflate the 260 Clear leaving 3 fingers un-inflated.
Make a 1 finger bubble and measure the balloon around the persons head who will wear the design, twist into place.
Then make a 1.5 finger bubble into a pinch twist for extra support to keep the design more upright on the hat.

I then make a knot in the end of the Clear balloon so it helps to hold the 260 better around the 11" balloon.
When tying the knot make sure you push the air down into the 260 so that is a firm balloon to again help keep the design more upright on the hat.

Securely tie this into place around the pinch twist a couple of times.

Shock twist the 260 a little to shape it and then add some artwork to the design.

When the person wears the design there is movement as the Ghost bops up and down when they walk.
