We are going with the Olaf Snowman design that I have been making at my Christmas gigs.
Hopefully it will be one used throughout the whole year as it was pretty popular at the December gigs.

This is a quick line work version using just three balloons.

Here we go then with this months model of the month.

Before inflating the White 260 please pre stretch the balloon, it will be 3/4 fingers longer so the design will be easier to make.

Inflate the 260 leaving 7 fingers un-inflated, make two 2.5 finger bubbles and pinch twist these for his feet.
Then make a 5 finger bubble and a 1 finger pinch twist.
(You could not have the pinch twist here but I prefer this to a bird body roll through)

Make another 5 finger bubble and twist around the feet pinch twists. Twist another 5 finger bubble and twist this back to the 1 finger pinch twist.

Then make a 4 finger bubble, the eyes will be drawn here later. Followed by another 1 finger pinch twist.
This pinch twist helps to keep the hair upright later.

Make another 4 finger bubble and twist around the 1 finger pinch twist at the top of the body.

You then need a 1 finger spacer bubble followed by a 1 finger pinch twist.

Wrap the 260 around the design and back to the pinch twist and secure into place.

You then need your last 4 finger bubble and deflate the rest of the 260 and secure the bubble into the top 1 finger pinch twist.

Inflate the 160 to a 7/8 finger bubble, I have used Chocolate Brown here but Mocha would work as well.

Cut off the excess from the 160 and just puff inflate this and re-tie.
The puff inflated section I have approx 7/8 fingers.

Twist the arms in the centre, I find by having this twist here it holds the arms better to the body.
Push the arms through the body with one bubble at the front and two bubbles behind.

Wrap the puff in-flatted 160 around the top pinch twist.

If you push the top pinch twist down into the head section this helps to hold the hair up and in place.

Inflate the Orange 160 to a 4 finger bubble, push this through the centre of the front two 4 finger bubbles and twist around the rear pinch twist.
The pinch twist the holds the White 260 that wraps all the way around Olaf and will be the mouth section.

Draw on the artwork and there is Olaf.

I always ask the children if they would like Olaf to have two or three buttons and either one tooth or two.
It gives you something to talk about and discuss to keep things flowing and moving along.

Some variations, you can just about get two sections of hair from the excess of the balloon you used for the arms.

You could also have a more elaborate nose with pulling the un-inflated along and around the 4 finger Orange
bubble and then tying them together before you attach to the design.

But both of these take more time and I was looking for a quicker line work design. I'm also happy to have a knot on the
Orange nose balloon when out and about working as you can make at least four noses from the one balloon.

Here is Olaf with the more elaborate nose plus slightly different arms. But again all takes longer to make.
