Hi Graham - just in case there's something i'm missing - any chance of a back view? Don't worry if not!

I did take a back view picture but for some reason it came out blank on my camera.
I dont think there are any surprises, the bottom of the body has a pinch twist to hold on the legs.

Here are a couple of hopefully helpful tips :D
It looks like a couple of the above pictures have the birds arms/wings as a pinch twist & pop?
On my one they are on both sides a;
2 finger bubble
1 finger pinch twist
2 finger bubble
Then no problem with them deflating. The legs should also be very short, approx 3 finger bubble with the
feet being as large as possible with the remainder of the balloon.

I am off on holiday for a week this weekend and so am mega busy so my plan is to try and do this from memory while I am away, I will post pics when I return. As we are staying at a farm I will try and do the sheep again too
Yes I am that sad that my balloons will go with me, I need the practice, plus the kids like them and so does the farmers kids so potential for some barter there  :D

A 2/3 finger bubble for the neck.
Wing. A 2 finger bubble, 1 finger pinch twisted & another 2 finger bubble,
repeat for the other wing.

The remainder of the balloon is for the body &
tail bubble which holds the bird in place on the perch.

Feet.

Inflate the orange balloon & leave approx 4/5 fingers un-inflated
A 1 finger bubble, 16 finger fold twist for a foot. Two 3 finger bubbles for legs, another 16 finger fold twist for the other foot. A 1 finger bubble, tie off & use the rest of this balloon for the beak.

Inflate fully a softish balloon & tie in a knot. From the knot twist a 3 finger bubble & 1 finger pinchtwist,
repeat for the other side of perch.

Add details, the idea for this sculpture is to have the head & feet oversized with a small body as this will help with the cartoon character.

Please let me know if you need more detailed instructions or are having trouble putting any of the model of the month's together.

For a slight variation the beak could be made from a 160 that is not pinchtwisted.
Looks smaller & thinner, just googled the bird & this may look better?

The proportions are a bit skew wiff - especially the short / non-existent neck and long body but it's recognizable - more practice required I think  :)

Ian

That's a great first try :)  Thanks for posting your effort, hopefully it will encourage others to try.
If you just let out some air from the body & retied the balloon it was there.

Never one to take the easy option I had a good hard look at the pics and then tried recreating tweetie pie whilst I was away on holiday last week, this is the result.
Did the head/eyes differently to how the instructions, that I have now seen now I am back, were done and will have another go soon.
