We have gone with a Butterfly for the model of the month for September.
I usually keep away from making Butterflies when out in the real world, no idea why
but with this design I must add it to the designs I make in the real world.

Will add the step by step instructions shortly.

The plan from this month is to do a free Zoom for the model of the months for those who have purchased product from us.
So please get in touch so I can pass on the Meeting ID and password.

So the Butterfly Zoom is planned for Tuesday 5th Oct at 7.30pm UK time.
Apologies I'm unable to open it to everyone, it depends on how many tune in for the
Zoom as it might be just to many for me to cope with.....but let's see.

It will take a couple of months to get it settled down and the step by step instructions
are here as well for those who are unable to attend on the night and also for those
who do not purchase from me or live worldwide.

Thanks for reading xx

These are the complimentary packs that are going out this month with every order.

Here we go then with the instructions on how to make the Butterfly.

Inflate your 260 leaving 5 fingers un-inflated, twist two 3 finger bubbles and make them into two large pinch twists.
Then make a 5 finger fold twist, twisting the balloon back into the pinch twists.

Then make your second 5 finger fold twist, again twisting the balloon back into the two large pinch twists.
These are the upper Butterfly wings.

You then need two 4 finger bubbles with the second twist going back into the two large pinch twists.
This is the first of the lower Butterfly wings.

Then you need two more 4 finger bubbles for the second lower wing and twist this back around the two large pinch twists.

The last section of the balloon varies but on mine here it was a 5 finger bubble.

Inflate the 160 balloon leaving 5 fingers un-inflated.
Attach the 160 to the two large pinch twists and make two 4 finger bubbles.
These are pushed inside the 5 finger fold twists.

Make two more 4 finger bubbles for the other top section wing and push them into the 5 finger fold twist.

You then need to loop the 160 around the lower wing that are the two 4 finger bubbles.
Make this a snug fit so the two 4 finger bubbles sit securely inside the 160 balloon.

Then do the same again to the other lower wing.

You then need a 2.5/3 finger bubble that will be loosely pinch twisted under the 3 finger 260 pinch twists.

For the antenna I make a small 3 finger bubble and tie the 260 off 4 fingers from the end.
I then tie a knot at the other end of the 260, 2 fingers from the end.
Cut off the excess un-inflated end sections.

I prefer the look of the antenna to be this size but you might like them to be larger
or smaller so please try some variations and see what you prefer.

Split the small 3 finger bubble in half and wrap the centre around the 3 finger pinch twist.

If one of the antenna is longer then just wrap the longer antenna around the pinch twist again to get them more even.

Add some artwork for the face.

Some variations, you could even make just a two balloon butterfly if needing to be quick in a line work situation.
