I was surprised that with all the years of doing a model of the month we have not had a Cat.
That was a surprise... so here it is then, this months model of the month, a Cat.

If anyone does order from us then we add the complimentary pack of balloons so you can make the design.
Just a little something from us to you.

Pre-stretch the 260 to give you a little extra on the length of the balloon.
Inflate leaving 5 fingers un-inflated.

Make a 4 finger, 2 finger, 4 finger, 2 finger and the last 4 finger bubble and twist these together.
This is the classic Teddy bear head.

Then make a 6 finger bubble for part of the Cat's body followed by two 1.5 finger bubbles.

Make these into two pinch twists for the Cat's paws.

Make another 6 finger bubble and twist into below the head section.

Then twist a 6.5 finger bubble followed by a 1.5 finger bubble that will be pinch twisted.
The tail is connected here later.

Then make a 3 finger bubble and twist around the two pinch twists for the paws.

You then need the last 3 finger bubble back to the single pinch twist and deflate the rest of the balloon.

Inflate a White or Ivory 260 to approx half way, make two 1.5 finger bubbles.

And make the two 1.5 finger bubbles into two pinch twists.

Then twist a 2 finger bubble into a pinch twist for the lower section of the mouth.

You then need a small spacer bubble before twisting a 3 finger fold twist for one of the Cats cheek.

Make another 3 finger fold twist for the other cheek.

You then need two 4 finger bubbles for the middle head section for the Cat and twist back into the fold twists.

Place this over the head/body joint of the Cat, as close as you can for a snug fit.

Then wrap the White/Ivory 260 around the the Cat a couple of times so that the face/cheek's fit as snug as possible around the body/head section.

Adjust the face on the Cat and push the two 4 finger bubbles of the White/Ivory balloon into the head section.
Twist the ears of the Cat into pinch twists, this pulls the face in nicely.

Push the White/Ivory balloon through the front legs leaving a small section protruding, then twist this balloon into the single rear pinch twist.
Deflate and discard the rest of the balloon.

Using the Orange 160 make an 8 finger bubble for the tail of the cat, use the end and then there will be no knot showing.
With the rest of the 160 make a 1 finger bubble for the nose.

Add the tail around the single rear pinch twist. Tie the nose onto the upper mouth section.

Draw on the artwork, did you spot my Black marker was running out... oops.
I always prefer two whiskers either side rather than the normal three.
No idea why but just do... just one of those things.

Hope the Cat worked out well for you and look forward to seeing some posted on social media, somewhere.

I just made this Cat as could not find the one I was looking for, the tail is the 260 and all made from one balloon.
The paws are made from the Ivory 260 to add a little more detail if you are making into a display.
